I have purchased licenses, for Captcha Pro and Limit Attempts Pro. I am currently single-user / single-blog.

For the hypothetical question of how compatible my setup would be to go multi-site, I have been studying my symlinks and directories. My Tools Menu already has a Network Settings entry, and I am hosting my single-BB site on my own private server at home.

I am not really serious about going multi-site, but if I did, I’d need to use subdirectories, instead of subdomains. I would also be asked by the menu, to deactivate all my plug-ins, and later to reactivate them, once per user.

I see that I have a single copy of the BWS images and packages media, in my ‘{Content-Directory}/uploads’ directory. I imagine that doing a transition will move some directories around, creating new subdirectories under ‘{Content-Directory}/blogs.dir’ etc.

Should I ever face the prospect of reactivating these plug-ins, I imagine that I’ll need to reenter the activation codes once every time I do so.

Will this be adequate for my whole site then, or just for one user? Practically, your plug-ins need to run once for the whole site. I’m not 100% that they will, the way I am set up.

And I do not intend to go multi- just yet. I am only looking at scenarios, and making sure that my slightly-localized configuration would remain stable if I did.

  • Hi Dirk,

    Thank you for contacting us!

Both Captcha Pro and Limit Attempts Pro plugins support subdirectory multisite.
As the network admin you can activate these plugins for the whole network, so you don’t have to activate them manually on each site.

You should enter the license key only once for each of these plugins.
There are multisite settings available for both plugins. See the screenshot attached.
