Question re: BuddyPress…

  • Hello,

    1- Is Buddy Press just a type of Plugin to use with WordPress for a Community type of system?

    2- Will other WP Plugins, like an Event List, Photo Gallery, Etc… still work with BuddyPress or do we have to use specific plugins designed for BuddyPress?

    1. BuddyPress is a WordPress plugin which transforms the site into a social network platform.

    2. You can use other WP plugins alongside BuddyPress. However, you need plugins which have BP-compatibility so these events/photos for example, show up in BP’s activity streams and/or Member’s profile pages.
