Question prior to update

    Hi,

    An update to Woo 6.2.0 has popped up in our admin, however, there is a message at the top of the info page stating

    Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.
6.2.0 2022-02-08

    This is a little confusing because we are running WordPress 5.9.

    Please advise

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Please note WooCommerce updates are compatible with the latest versions of WordPress. The updates are checked before releasing. The popup should be going away soon.

    That been said, it is a good practice to make a full backup of your site before implementing any major changes such as an update. That’ll enable you easily restore your site to the previous/functional state in case something goes wrong.
