• Hi,
I did not receive help from Woocommerce so I was wondering if you could tell me if it is possible to not have the customer automatically get directed to Paypal after he has ordered something but instead have him directed to the thankyou page nd have a paynow-link to Paypal being inserted into the order-processing email. Thanks for your help!

Well, yes, anything is possible. ??

The question is really whether or not it’s available in a plugin’s existing functionality. Unfortunately, that is not something our plugin would currently support, and I am not aware of anything that would get that done for you.

Do I understand correctly, though, that you basically want to skip any actual checkout/payment on your site and have a new order come through as “pending”, but then add a payment button in the email notification the buyer gets so they can pay through that?

It could definitely be done, but it would take a custom plugin. We could give you a bid on that sort of thing if you’re interested.

    Hi,
yes, I want to use regular Paypal(not express, jut the standard that is included in Woocommerce) AND not have the customer get directed to Paypal. I am already using a plugin for Germany called “Germanized” and it automatically makes the order as pending when a customer clicks on “Order”, and also send the order-processing email, regardless of wheether the customer chooses to disrupt the payment at Paypal. If he does cancel at Paypal, he still gets redirected to my thankyou page(which is correct in Germany because when he clicks on “Order”, he has placed an actual order and can’t cancel it. So to avoid the customer being confused, I would just like to send him the link to pay with the email…

As I mentioned, that’s not something that any existing plugin (that I know of) will do, but if you want to submit a quote request we can certainly provide a bid on doing that work for you.
