Question Ordering

    Hello,
    I have a slight issue that is regarding the order of the question in an specific group:
    First the language I use is Arabic, the plug in seems to sort the question Alphabetically, even if I tried to order the questions through the order field in the quick edit feature from the WP CP it seems that the Alphabetically ordering override the order from the wordpress.

    Any idea what I can do to bypass the Alphabetically ordering and order the question ordering to my logic.

    Hi,

    Thanks for using my plugin. When you use the “order” field in the FAQ creation screen, make sure you are choosing that order when you create your FAQ

    hmmmmm , didn’t get your point.
    What you mean exactly by choosing that order while I’m creating the, I already created the Question.

    1-what I did I tried to modify the order of this question, so I used the quick edit and input the order number of the question, for example if I want it to be question number 5, I put 5 in the order field.

    2- didn’t get the point of [faq orderby=menu_order], did you mean that I shall use it as a short code in the page where the FAQs should appear?

    1. That’s fine, but if you use the “order” field you must specify that in your shortcode (see 2)
    2. Yes, sorry about the confusion. If you want to use something other than the default sort (which is alphabetical), you have to specify the orderby attribute. In your case if you want to use the “order” field you need to set the orderby to menu_order on the page you display your FAQs.

    Does that make more sense?
