Question on Vendors from China

    Hi

    I am planning to include vendors from China on my woocommerce store with WCFM, a MULTIVENDOR MARKETPLACE plugin, but not sure if those vendors will be able to accept payment from customers for instance from USA or any other countries supported by paypal. What I know is there a version called Paypal China where people in China can register their China paypal account with no USA information, but when it comes to accepting international payment, it might be another thing.

    Thanks for your question! I believe this will depend on how WCFM handles international payouts – what mechanism in its system does it use to receive payments from customers and process payments to vendors.

    Based on what I can see from their documentation here, Vendors must request a withdrawal from you in order to receive payments, and then you process the payments in some way.

    I’d recommend reaching out to the WCFM team directly to find out what is supported with regards to international payments and PayPal via their platform. I know they offer some WCFM-specific gateways that offer different functionality for vendor payouts. They should know the best options available for you on this!
