Question on multisite migration

    Hi there,

    I cloned a live site to this domain:

    pixelhappy.tech

    And have converted the currently live site to a multisite.

    I now have two sites on this domain — pixelhappy.tech and english.pixelhappy.tech

    Once we complete the work, I want to migrate the site to the live domain (I’m using pixelhappy.tech temporarily in order to update this site).

    So can I use Migrate Guru to migrate the multisite at pixelhappy.tech to another domain?

    I just didn’t quite understand what this means:

    “Migration of multi-site network sub-sites to a different domain /migration of a site to multi-site network subdivision.”

    I’m not migrating a sub site; I want to migrate the multisite at pixelhappy.tech to a different domain on a different host.

    Would you please clarify?

    Hi Yeal,

    I’ve used Migrate Guru a few times now, including moving multisite to another host on another (sub)domain.

    I use it to make a copy of my live site for testing which I have on cloud hosting to a test.mysite.com account which is on a cPanel shared host.

    Migrate Guru handles the URL switch and everything related for you. Hope that helps.
