Question on comment moderation

  • I just got hit this morning by some comment spam, which is the first time I’ve had spam since upgrading to the new version. I was unsure if I should just delete the comments or mark them as spam. If I mark them as spam, are they automatically deleted from WP? Is anything else done when they are marked as spam? Like are the words added to the “blacklist,” etc.?

    Is there anywhere I can read up on the new anti-spam features of WP in depth?
