Question on automatic redirection

Hi,
Firstly, thanks very much for your awesome plug-in. Secondly, apologies for my very green question (I’m new).
I used the plug-in to redirect pages easily and it has worked brilliantly.
But I noticed today when I went onto the settings that there are 301s for loads of pages that I didn’t manually change/ edit in the redirection plug-in.
For example, I may have added a post to a new category which has changed the URL, and Redirection has automatically completed a 301 for it. eg.

Check redirect for: https://www.madornomad.com/france/
Expected: 301 to /guides/europe/france/
Found: 301 to /guides/europe/france/

So my question is, does the plugin automatically pick up on and alter these redirections?
