• I have been trying to find the right add-on for me to use for my website. A friend referred me to this but I am not sure what exact approach I would be going at for doing what I want. I wasn’t able to really search for the topic because I don’t know how exactly I would describe this…

But, essentially on my band’s website I have a news section, it’s a portion of the website..take a look..
    https://www.uncreationband.com/news.html

I have to manually delete the bottom post and add a new one to the top and bring it down every time I want to updates the news on my band’s website. I want to be able to just submit in some form and way news and for it to go in there and for me to display a certain amount of them so I can make submitting news a lot easier. If anyone has any suggestions, tips or can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Amrish

  • Yes! That is the main functionality of WordPress.

    Thread Starter uncreation

    (@uncreation)

I mean I installed it on my page and it is it’s own thing…I already have my webpage done and I don’t want to re-do anything I just want to be able to kind of edit my posts and then insert the posts into a section of the website, is this possible?

Just install WordPress in its own directory and call it news then then change the static html pages that link to to https://www.uncreationband.com/news/ and you will be able to use WordPress just for your news or “blog”

There are some really good musician/band related plugins that you might really like.
