Question before starting

  • Hello I haven’t yet started my site rebuild and i have a few questions before starting… I saw some content about this but i am still a little confused….

    I have an existing website named tvpuravida.com I want to rebuild it in wp with a theme i found on themeforest.

    1) How do I begin using wp on my existing host?

    2) I have an existing host, can i just use the 3rd party theme i purchased for free or do i have to pay a yearly fee to wp for an upgrade?

    I assume i can build the site offline and them update to the new version overnight?

    1. Which hosting company are you using?
    Most web host has a one-click wordPress install in your cpanel.

    2. WordPress is free. Howveer if you have premium themes, you might need to verify if they offer free lifetime updates or a yearly subscription to access theme updates.

    3. You can start building your site offline in your local computer using mamp (mac) or xamp (windows).
