%QUESTION% and %USER_ANSWER% not working

    Hi. I want my admin to receive the users results displayed as such.

    The question asked
    The answer they gave.

    However, when I add the %QUESTION% and %USER_ANSWER% variables to the email template it literally sends “%QUESTION%” and “%USER_ANSWER%” rather than the data was actually entered.

    When I used %QUESTIONS_ANSWERS% the questions and answers come through properly but the correct answer is also shown. As I am using the plugin as a survey, there is no correct answer so I do not want this sent in the email.
    How can I make it so that the question and answer are the only two variables sent?

    Thank you for choosing to use this plugin! The %QUESTION% and %USER_ANSWER% can only be used when you are editing the template used for %QUESTIONS_ANSWERS%. When editing a quiz, go to the “Text” tab. Scroll down to the option labelled “%QUESTIONS_ANSWERS% Text”. Here, you can use the %QUESTION% and %USER_ANSWER% varaibles as well as the ones for correct answer and correct answer info.

    You can also remove the correct answer from that text by removing it in this same template.

    Hi, I got the same issue, but the variables send ok to admin email but as a plain text %QUESTION% and %USER_ANSWER% in email to user. I’ve checked various emails, I did number of quizzes and always the same. I have it set in TEXT tab. Any ideas?

    And I have it set in EMAILS tab.

    It is because the %QUESTION% and %USER_ANSWER% can only be used when you are editing the template used for %QUESTIONS_ANSWERS%. So if you customize %QUESTIONS_ANSWERS% to your liking, you can then use %QUESTIONS_ANSWERS% in the Emails tab.
