Hello, I have a question. I have this theme https://woocommerce.com/products/freshcart/. I would like to add some categories in the sidebar, I repeat some, not all. I wrote to support, but they wrote that you can add all or nothing. I have about 50 categories and it doesn’t look aesthetically pleasing. I would like to add a few categories. Do any of you have any advice on how to do this? Regards,

Thank you very much for help

Hello @lanter56 best to link us to your actual website rather than freshcart’s

    Hi @lanter56,

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. However, since this relates to a premium theme, please get in touch with us directly via [Woo.com → My Account → Support] for further help with this.

You may need to log in to the account used to purchase the extension before you can access that page. As per the [forum guidelines], no support for premium extensions is provided here, but we will be happy to assist you further from there.

    Thanks!

    Hello @omarfpg

I don’t know if you read exactly what I wrote. Let me quote my entry. “I wrote to support, but they wrote that you can add all or nothing.”

Does anyone of you have an idea how to add these categories?

Hello @lanter56 we understood you. You want to display categories, however you didn’t mention if they were post category or product category. Nonetheless, all of that will be displayed based on your theme. And since you are using a premium theme, per forum guidelines, we don’t support that here.

You also stated that it looks unappealing. That again is the theme, not WooCommerce that displays the overall appearance.

    Hello lanter56

    Thank for your reply.

As Stef suggested, if the official theme support informed you that you can either add all categories or no categories. It is the active theme that controls the appearance of the website, in this case, there is nothing you can do from WooCommerce settings.

Having said that, you can always use custom-coded solutions to achieve something that is not available in the default theme features.

As per our support policy, we do not provide support for custom-coded solutions on this forum.
Therefore, I recommend consulting a local dev or one at Woo Experts.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
I will be happy to answer. ??

    Best regards.
