Question about Square payment plugin

    I am developing a site on localhost and have the Square payment plugin installed and configured. I also have check payments and COD (cash on delivery) enabled. The problem I am having is that credit card payments are never provided as an option at checkout time.

    Is that because I do not have an SSL certificate on my local computer? Or is there another issue?
