    Hello,

    question about Request whitelist for cerber live traffic.

    https://wpcerber.com/traffic-inspector-in-a-nutshell/

    Looking for someone who know how to exclude inspection and logging with url /?fbclid=

    They are legitimate facebook visitors that do not need to be inspected and logged.

    I tried whitelist in the Request whitelist setting field all this:

    {fbclid$}
    {fbclid=$}
    ?fbclid=
    /?fbclid=
    {/?fbclid=}
    ?fbclid=$

    Nothing is working :’ so all Facebook visitors are inspected and logged…

    Thanks in advance if you can help.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Did you get a solution to the whitelisting error? I whitelisted some url too but it didn’t work. The url are important Cron job in order for my website to function properly but unfortunately the url are still getting 403 errors. I’m looking to get the cerber premium package only if I’m able to figure out how to get the traffic inspector whitelisted url to work.

    I look forward to getting this sorted out.

    Normally, WP Cerber doesn’t block such requests. Please show me the full row (screenshot) from the Live Traffic log page that you need to exclude from inspection.

    Hello @risingbet,

    no I do not get the solution, so I trashed this bad plugins that can’t whitelisted url we want. If you receive many traffic visitor from Facebook, the livetraffic panel and logs will be flooded by their long url containing ?fbclid=…

    The creator respond to you because you writed “premium” in your question. Not interested to respond to my question and help fre user, money money…

    Thank you @gioni for the response. Problem solved at my end. All I did was whitelisted my server IP address, and that solved the Cron job issue. @wplike75 i have used the Premium Wp cerber for 3 years in one of my website and i must say it gets the job done for me. It’s effective, not full of so many useless features, and I’ve never had a security breach. I wouldn’t call it a bad plugin, it’s far from it. It’s a good plugin. The website I had the whitelisted issue with is a new website that I’m currently setting up that I haven’t gotten premium for.

    From my observation, it seems cerber traffic inspector whitelisting function doesn’t recognize the ?. When there’s a question mark, it gives a notification that the ? should be removed before the url can be added successfully. When I tried whitelisting a url that doesn’t have a ?, it functioned properly. I think the author should consider updating the plugin in the nearest future to accept URLs with ?.

    Other than that, I’ve not had a single issue with the plugin.

    We continue developing our solution and supporting our clients amidst the pandemic in a timely manner. It also includes the free version of the plugin. Should our time, skills, and efforts be rewarded in a way? I think so. I also believe there is plenty of information on our website on how to whitelist some requests: https://wpcerber.com/firewall-http-requests-are-being-blocked/

    Anyway, I point out again that WP Cerber doesn’t block requests just because it contains the fbclid parameter. If requests are being blocked, there is something wrong with them (no matter how many parameters they have) and they can pose a risk to the website.
