    Hi,

This is a great plugin and I’m happy to recommend it. I have an interesting situation that I need help with when it comes to past events. I am revamping a client’s website. He has events that were held earlier in the year. I want to add these as past/expired events. When I add these events, even though they are in the past, they show in the events list as new. The plugin doesn’t seem to care about the date… specifically the year.

I have changed the order to ascending so the events list shows the event that is closest to today first. However, when I add the past events, they show before the upcoming event.

    Please advise.

    Thank you

  • Hi @tebmu45,

You need to set some settings from the Event listing -> settings -> Event Listing setting and set hide expired and cancelled the events.

Also please check following doc for more details https://wp-eventmanager.com/the-event-listings/

    Thank you

    Hi,
same for me. When i add orderby=”event_start_date” it shows me the events in a false order. Same for the events list in the backend. When i order events by date it is also not correct, but in a different order than in the frontend.
Is there a shortcode to display only upcoming events and hide expired events? I have enabled everything in the settings that should hide cancelled or expired events without any effect.
