    1) By default your image compression is 5%. Does this means, the image will be 5% compressed/smaller. This is little confusing, because in other plugins, they give default image compression level as 85%.

    2) After purchasing your pro version, can I use both Convert to JPEG and Enable to Webp. My question is if I can enable webp, what is the use of convert to JPEG. Does this mean, your plugin will convert png image to jpeg & ten webp. Or something else.

    Hi @silumant

    1) Since the main goal of the plugin is resizing, by default image optimization including compression is turned off (5% is considered like nothing), so feel free to set a higher compression level.

    2) JPG images are used as fallback when some browsers can’t display WebP images.

    I still have some questions regarding compression & conversion.

    1) Does this compress all types of files like jpg, jpeg, png etc.?

    2) Is the original file deleted after compression.

    3) Does this compression option compress every time I upload an image? Like compressing while uploading an image directly into the media library, compressing images upon upload while creating a post . Or only works (compresses) while uploading from the product page. What I mean is, does the compression work on the product page or everywhere.?

    4) In the pro version, if I choose the convert to jpeg from png option, does the plugin automatically convert it during upload & delete the original file png file.?

    Please answer all questions seriously so that there will be no confusion.?

    Hi @silumant

    1) Yes, it does compress all those formats.

    2) Only thumbnails are compressed. We do this because full size images are not used on the shop. In the coming release, it will possible to process original images as well. Backups will be created with an option to delete them.

    3) Compression affects only product images (and category images if turned on in the settings). This happens every time you upload an image through the product admin page or the media library (with this option turned on), or while regenerating thumbnails.

    4) Conversion happens upon upload and while regenerating thumbnails, similarly to (3), and it affects only thumbnails, so original images are not deleted (this is related to (2)).

    Thanks you, my doubts are almost solved.

    One last question. I am using wp rocket with webp cache enabled. Also I am on cloudflare free plan with recommended cache setting by wp rocket. If I purchase the pro version for enabling webp. Will I have to do anything in cloudflare settings or no need to do anything (& it will be unaffected)
