    Hi Charlie,

The Movies page shows the movie thumbnails in a clickable grid, which is really nice. I want to have it so if a user chooses a genre like Action or a Media type like Bluray, the page they go to will show a nice grid of movie thumbnails too, instead of a standard archive list that has excerpts, etc. Is that possible? I have read through the questions here (and I don’t believe that is currently possible) but wanted to make sure they were referring to the same thing I was.

    Thanks!

  • You’re right, that is not possible right now, but is planned for version 2.1.5: taxonomy pages will be able to use the same grid as movie archives pages ??

Thanks. I figured. Do you have any idea how to sort the posts on taxonomy pages like /genre/horror alphabetically then? I tried editing the functions.php file with code found on www.remarpro.com but it had no effect. Posts are still by date. I even tried some plugins that enable alphabetical ordering with no luck either.

WordPress supports basic sorting through URLs, so you can have something like this: ?orderby=post_title&order=ASC to order by title ascendingly. It’s a bit limited, but it works ??

Thanks, Charlie. I ended up having to add some code to my index.php file and it works fine now.
