Question about migrating users

  • Hi folks,
    I’m rebuilding my community’s website and no one wants to lose their posts or profile information, so I’m going to bring the ol’ tables over to the new one.
    One a recent migration I found myself (admin) unable to view the Dashboard index page (permissions), so I’m wondering if I exclude my account from the wp_users backup and import the users and data into the new site, will my (WP and Buddypress) posts and data from the old site be assigned to the original admin on the new installation?

    If not, do you guys have any solutions for me?
