Question about Meta links

  • I want to change the “site admin” link in the classic theme style on the meta menu. I’ve looked all over for it. Where is this text located so that I can change it.

  • Looks like it’s in sidebar.php, probably a function of the php call <?php wp_register(); ?> – at least, that’s what seems to occupy the “space” where “site admin” appears.

    1. OP wasn’t asking about “customizing” but how to change the output of a function (template tag).
    2. Even if it was about customizing the Meta part of the sidebar the link is misleading, since it talks about the post meta data in sidebar which is, of course, wrong.
    3. o0godspeed0o, you will have to find the function file to change that output.
