Question about messages in Live Traffic report

Hi,

Based on what I see on my website’s LT, it means from the given URL, but not necessarily away from your website. It could be for instance a redirection from:

https://example.com to https://example.com
or
https://example.com to https://www.example.com
or
https://www.example.com/slug to https://www.example.com/slug/
etc

In my experience, many bots don’t follow redirects, so in these cases you won’t see a subsequent visit to the properly formatted URL.

You will see such entries when you get any server 301 response, check this screenshot.

Server 301 redirects are most probably (http > https) or (www to non-www) redirects and sometimes are related to old URLs that you need to redirect users from to new ones, check out more about these redirects here.
