    Hi,

I am on shared hosting with LiteSpeed installed. However, my host has said they don’t provide the LSCache Module.

I get the below error after installing the LiteSpeed cache plugin for WordPress.

My question is, are only lscache features being disabled or does this mean browser cache isn’t working at all when I am getting this error? If browser caching isn’t working at all, does that mean I should use W3 total cache instead or what do I need to do for this situation? Thanks!

    Here’s the error:

The LSCache Module is disabled at the server level. Learn How to Fix It

    Hi,

only LS cache feature is disabled as it requires cache module at server level, other generic optimization should work on all servers, there is no way to “fix” it unless your provider enable cache module on their server.

Browser cache should work, you can check your .htaccess file , and you should be seeing strings that instructs browser to cache static file.

    Best regards,

Hi, I have the same WARNING
    https://prntscr.com/kqlmld

    1) do you still recommend using LScache also with this warning?
    2) I’m missing the WooCommerce tab – although WooCommerce is installed?

    Best regards.

    Hi,

    1. If you are not on LiteSpeed Servers , then you can still use LSCWP, but only works the general optimization feature , full-page-cache won’t work there.

    2. Try De-activate and re-activate LSCWP.

if still missing wooc tab , please open a new topic for it.

Then this plugin is useless, who needs browser cache? We need page cache, W3TC plugin allows to do page cache on its own

    Hi,

The caching system works with this plugin is required on web-server level , which is more efficient than PHP level caching but it requires LiteSpeed WebServer.

    Best regards,

Yes, be aware of hosts promoting ‘optimized for WordPress’ and LightSpeed webservers I found most of them didn’t enable the LSCache Module for their budget plans which is needed for the LightSpeed Plugin to work to it’s full potential.
