Question About Importing Entries

I’ve had my current blog for almost two years now. Only recently have I stumbled upon older live journals and such that I used to post at. Instead of having bits and pieces of the last five years of my life scattered in random places throughout the net, I’d like to have them all in one place.

My question though is, I already have 200+ entries on my journal as it is. Is it still possible to import entries from an old GM and LJ account (and what about aboutmylife.org, the ‘new’ ujournal that uses the same code as LJ?) will these simply backdate and import nicely, and all of my current entries will stay intact and as-is, correct?? I just want to make sure it won’t overwrite anything and everything I have up to this point is still safe.

I’m sorry if this has already been answered but I did search and nothing seemed to answer my question ??
