Question about images

Thanks for you help with my previous question. I had no idea News Preview existed…publishing Apple News articles is less of a black box mystery to me now.

I am wondering what can be done about my buy now buttons. I use small gifs that are linked to an Amazon product. When I publish the article to Apple News, the tiny images fill up the entire width of the window and lose the link. I am assuming that this is normal Apple News behaviour since none of image components have a URL portion to them or am I missing something?

Do you have any suggestions? Either I:

1. Remove the Buy Now buttons going forward
2. Publish two versions of the post and hide the Apple News version (or update the post after it gets published)
