Question about handling sensitive media uploads

We want to forward media collected via the upload field to a set email, then have the media auto-deleted from the media library or /wp-content/uploads/, in order to keep these uploads secure and private (and unable to be found via plain URL). I see that there is the option to not keep submissions and auto-delete uploads submitted, but is there a way to auto-delete just uploads from submissions, but keep all the other info from submissions? We would like a record of submissions, so we can see entries that failed to email, but not to keep private media files from being found on a plain URL. Or, is there perhaps a way to password protect uploads in the media library?
