    Hello,

I am just setting up the plugin.

For the front-end subscribe/unsubscribe, there are options — but most seem to relate to Buddypress. Is there any way for subscribers to be able to opt in or out of standard posts or custom post types? (I’m assuming the “new post/activity” in the popup refers to BuddyPress posts).

Yes second option is common for both wordpress post and buddypress activity, in the upcoming release i will separate these into 2 separate options. I am also include all these subscription options directly in custom prompt in upcoming release , so that user can customize options while subscribing for first time itself from bell icon or from shortcode

Thanks for the quick response. That’s great. Will there ever be any way to set it up so that users can subscribe to specific custom post types? Or if you have a followers setup in BuddyPress someone could get notifications only from friends or followers?

For friends, if you send message/private message between friends then notification will sent only to particular user id. Friendship request and accept will be one to one notification. Similarly if you mention some id in activity like @username then notification will be sent to only to particular user id one to one notification.

There is no follower feature in buddypress and i have added condition only for buddyboss plugin to send notification sent only to user ids who liked the activity.

For group notification, it will be sent only to group users.

Do you use any plugin for followers feature? if so then please let me know, i will try to add that corresponding condition in this plugin (when that plugin is active).

Buddypress plugin do not have followers feature, if any other plugin are used for followers then i need to check that plugin to add corresponding condition to trigger notification
