Question about excerpts

Please go layout editor & add item “Excerpt” you will see input field “Character limit:” when expand by click , please see the screenshot, save your layout when done.

I did this but the Excerpt is not being used. Instead it always uses the Content even though Excerpt is set in the layout and not Content!

Can you please go our website and open a support post and send your website url.

Can you please check the option “Character limit:” you might set big value so that its display full content.
