Question about creating database and about host.

Hello!
I think I’ve done everything right but when I try to create my database (on my local computer), I get the following error:
db_create.php: Missing parameter: db (FAQ 2.8)

I’ve checked FAQ 2.8 and follow it without any result.
Anyone got an idea?

I’ve also got a question about my host. (the one I want to upload my blogg to when I get it running and ready, b-one.net)
They told me wordpress works fine but they do not support “The mod_rewrite Apache module”.

Does it matter?
