Question about attack notification

    I received my first attack notification from Login Security Solutions this morning. There were 50 attempts within 120 minutes to login to WordPress. I also have the “Simple Login Log” plugin installed and it doesn’t show any of the failed login attempts.

    Why would this be? Would it be related to how the attacker was attacking WordPress? I have WordPress 3.5, Login Security Solutions 0.34.0, and Simple Login Log 0.9.4 (now) installed. At the time the notification was generated, I had Simple Login Log 0.9.3 installed.

    I have no idea how Simple Login Log works, sorry. You can look at the plugin’s source code to find out or ask in their forum.
