    Hello.

    Thanks for your plugin.

    I have two question,

first, do we need to correctly uninstall AMP upon deactivation? I was seeing AMP url detection, but it was gone. Maybe a lag from google pagespeed/search console.

i’v read a topic about correctly uninstalling AMP upon deactivation, but that was last year. Maybe it’s not the case anymore.

Second, what is the compatility with gutenberg (wordpress native editor) and third party plugins for gutenberg. (is this dependant on these third parties?)

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Thanks for reaching out. As soon as you deactivate the plugin there will be no AMP URLs remaining on your site. If any visits happen to land on a previously active AMP URL they’ll be automatically redirected to the canonical (non AMP) version.

Great question. Gutenberg is the default WordPress editor and the native blocks are all AMP compatible. In relation to third party plugins you’re correct that it’s a question for third party plugin developers. Many block based plugins are AMP compatible. You’ll find a list of Jetpack AMP compatible blocks in the below GitHub issue:
    https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/14395

You’ll also find a list of just some compatible plugins on the plugin website. Plugins that don’t impact the front end of your site would most likely be considered AMP compatible.
