Question about alt-text and H1 header

  • Greetings everyone!

    I am just starting out on my first WordPress site, so please excuse my ignorance.

    1. I would like to add some alt-text to an image shown as 25th-Aniversary on my website. I cant find where to enter the alt-text.

    2. I would like to change my H1 tag at the top of my home page. I also cannot find where to change this text. It seems that it should be easy, but I have gone thru almost every option trying to find it.

  • why are you working with wp3.4.2 when starting your site – upgrade immediately to the latest wp3.7.1 before you continue.

    any help will be difficult as you seem to be working with a custom made theme.

    where did you get your theme from?
    can you contact the developer?

    That is a very good question. I have asked the developer why WP has not been upgraded to the latest version. They just said that they will proceed with the upgrade. Then I will see where we are. I think the theme, 2010, just came from the WP site.
