question about admin login on splash page

  • There’s an option to have the admin login visible or not on the splash page. By making it invisible, it seems the only access I then have to the dashboard is via a link I store in Favorites on my browser, is that right?

    Second question: how much more secure is my site by making the admin login invisible, and is it worth it do you think? I’m asking this, because if I lose that Favorites link, I lose access to dashboard, right?

    Your site is no more secure by hiding the wp-admin login. The same attacks would apply, and the admin page isn’t the only attack point. So … I wouldn’t even bother. You gain nothing and it’s an extra hassle.
