Question about a sidebar problem with category name showing up in the category

Taking a look at your source will give you the answer. ??

You should check your sidebar.php for this line:

<li class="pagenav">Pages<ul>

That’s your culprit. It’s also giving you a ul that isn’t closed.

This is what I have listed in Sidebar.php:

<!– Static Pages ——————————>

<li><div class="menutitle"><?php _e('PAGES'); ?></div>
<ul>
<?php wp_list_pages(); ?>
</ul>
</li>

Try replacing

<?php wp_list_pages(); ?>

with

<?php wp_list_pages('title_li='); ?>

That should fix it. ??

The header is “built in” with the tag, and that specification sets no header. ??
