Query strings aren’t being added to minified resources

    Hi there,

    When I first setup my website I set it up with minification and query strings enabled. Whenever I updated my css/js I empty all caches and refresh the query string with W3. However a couple months ago I noticed query strings were not being appended to the minified files, even though I have not changed any settings since then.

    When I disable minification the query strings are appended properly. I would like to use both though.

    I am up to date with WordPress and the most recent W3 release.

    Hello,

    In Performance>Browser Cache JS&CSS sub box, check if the option “Prevent caching of objects after settings change ” is disabled. If so, enable it and save all settings.

    The Prevent caching of objects after settings change is already enabled.
    Any other details I can give to help out with the troubleshooting?

    Hello,
    Sorry I made a mistake. I asked you if the option “Prevent caching of objects after settings change ” is disabled.
    There is an option in Performance>Browser Cache, “Remove query strings from static resources “. Is that option enabled?

    Yes, the Prevent caching option is enabled, and the Remove query strings option is disabled.

    Very peculiar problem.
