Query string in links

Hello,

I’m trying this theme and it looks fantastic, so congratulations on an excellent job. I have one question…

Links created by this theme insert a query string after the url. Example: https://www.example.com/?customize_changeset_uuid=b5fe91a1-7441-4fcf-9543-0eb6c827815f

So why is that and can it be prevented? Thank you.
