Query Post Widget – From Sidebar to Category Page?

    Query post widget is great for what it does, putting posts in the sidebar. Is there a widget or can this widget be modified to do the exact same thing but place the information on a specific category page. I’m hoping someone will please say yes and tell me how this can be done. It’s exactly what I want to do. Have all posts with specific threads e.g. paranormal go to a specific archive/category page called paranormal. I’m praying someone will answer. Thanks much.

    Let me correct myself. The query post widget would work perfectly but I don’t have the Hybrid Theme as used in the video at the plugin’s site. I have Coraline. Can this widget be used with Coraline? The problem I have is that to activate widgets in coraline you have to move it to the sidebar which puts it in one of the widget areas. Then if you follow the steps the post shows up on the correct category page but in the sidebar which isn’t where I want the post of course. How can I get around this in the Coraline theme. I guess its the question of how to activate this widget without placing in the widget sidebar any where. Sorry for the confusion but it’s late. I will be up for awhile hoping someone has an answer. If this widget can’t work with Coraline, does someone know of a Query post widget that will work with it?

    I have to admit I’m disappointed that no one can help me with this problem or point me in a direction that doesn’t require writing code.

    I did find another plug in that worked from an outside source.
