• Hi there

    1. I installed the plugin and notice that tax collection is fixed and will be charged to ALL customers when configured. This is not how online sales tax work in the US, you only collect sales tax when the seller (me) and my customer both are colocated in the same STATE .. e.g. California. With that in mind, tax should only be collected from a customer who chooses California (CA) as their state.

    Please clarify.

    2. I notice that you support Aweber, Mailchimp and ConverKit using the add-on plugins.. How about MailerLite? Is there a way to integrate Stripe payments with an API integration provider such as Zapier?

    3. In the plugin examples, I only noticed examples showing Stripe checkout popup, how about embedded forms or stripe payment pages (i.e. checkout.stripe.com/pay/blah)? Are those supported or not?

    Thanks a bunch.

The following documentations use-shipping-tax-stripe-payments has information on how shipping and tax is collected in our plugin.

I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue/question.

Please check the following documentation stripe-payments-mailerlite-integration-addon.

    3. In the plugin examples, I only noticed examples showing Stripe checkout popup, how about embedded forms or stripe payment pages (i.e. checkout.stripe.com/pay/blah)? Are those supported or not?

Hi, can you provide an example of what you are trying to achieve? This will help us understand your needs further.

    Thank you

    HI there

thanks for your reply. See my responses below.

    1. I read the docs before opening the ticket. Online sales tax is applied if the buyer and seller are colocated in a State as I mentioned earlier with the California example. Your plugin needs to have an option for sellers to enter their home state or states, once they do that, the plugin should only apply Tax to customers that happen to be in that state (or states). This is how Woocommerce works. Without that option, tax processing is useless. For example, If seller is located in the US and the buyer is located in Canada, obviously there will be no sales tax since Buyer is NOT a resident of the US. I hope that’s clear.

    2. Thank you. Got it.

    3. When you checkout with stripe, you can use overlay, embedded forms or stripe payment pages (checkout.stripe.com/…). My question is, why does your plugin NOT support strip payment pages. see example below.

    https://demo.wpsimplepay.com/stripe-checkout/

    4. One more question. I currently use your PDF Stamper plugin, is there a way to also sell stamped PDF using your Stripe plugin? E.g. let’s say I want to sell paperback books (hard copies) as well as PDFs as two variations under one product, is that possible?

Hi, This plugin will ONLY do what we show in the video tutorials here:
    https://s-plugins.com/stripe-payments-plugin-video-tutorials/

Anything else, you kind of have to assume it doesn’t do.

Sorry, it just doesn’t do some of those things you need.

I can create an integration with PDF stamper. If you use the contact form on our site to get in touch, I will be able to sort something out.
