Query Loop Pagination

    I’m using the query loop block with the posts template, and I was hoping to put pagination controls at the bottom (as mentioned here), but I do not see any of the query pagination blocks available.

  • I was about to say the Query Pagination block doesn’t exist, but I just double-checked, and there it is! I’m using 5.8.1, the latest.

    It seems you have to pick to have a new block after the Query Template & inside the Query Loop. I kept trying to put it after the Loop itself, but if you pick new block there, the pagination block isn’t available.

    etc
    Query Pagination
    Paragraph

    Thank you so much for your help. I really thought I was going nuts.

    That’s exactly where I was trying to add it, but to no avail. What I discovered after reading your response is that you have to have the post template block selected when you hit the + button to add a block. Very confusing UX!
