Query link instead of anchor link…
-
I was able to get this plugin working without any issue, but it didn’t meet all my needs.
I was wanting to have more options for sharing and tracking URLs with url parameters.
If I change line 66 of the functions php to remove the ‘#’, then I can use the anchor attribute with more flexibility.
Instead of anchor=”trackurl” turning into #trackurl, I can use anchor=”#trackurl” to get #trackurl and use anchor=”?trackurl” to get ?trackurl.
Maybe there’s a reason I shouldn’t do this(?), I’m open to hearing more, but in any case, if you could either make this change or add a separate, second option for URL parameters, I believe it would improve the plugin.
