query for taxonomy and display taxonomy description on page

    Bit complicated this one so please bear with me.
    Is it possible to link taxonomies? Then pass results in a query

    Ie
    Custom Post type = accommodation which has 2 custom taxonomies = Area (terms = North, South, East, West) and Activity (terms = Golf, Tennis, Football).

    If the Activity term ‘Golf’ is selected in the custom post with the area term ‘North’ is it possible to display the description from the North term.

    So I could have a separate ‘page’ called ‘about golf’ which not only can I display the ‘accommodation’ posts but also a description of the area based the question “good areas for golf”. Ie it would display the related ‘areas’ based on the fact ‘activity’ was selected.

    Hope that makes sense…
