Quelques problèmes avec mon site.

  • Mon site s’est mit à ralentir aussi bien dans l’interface admin que sur le site lui même. Après quelques recherches, j’ai vu que des utilisateurs avaient désactivé Jetpack. Je ne pense pas le réactiver, du moins pour le moment. Néanmoins, c’est un plugin complet qui propose beaucoup de fonctionnalités, mais qui ne vous sont pas forcément utiles. Il suffit juste de les désactiver.
    Peut être que ce plugin est incompatible avec mon thème et mes autres plugins ? Je recommande tout de même de l’installer, même si pour ma part j’ai eu quelques problèmes.

    Depending on the modules you’ve activated, and the new elements you added to your site thanks to Jetpack and, your theme, and other plugins, a performance impact can indeed be expected. For example, if you’ve added Like buttons, Related Posts, a few widgets, and sharing buttons, that will indeed increase your site’s loading time.

    Like with every other plugin, when enabling features, you need to decide if that feature is worth the performance hit it could bring to your site. In general, any features that use images, or call resources from third-party services (like the sharing buttons or the Facebook and Twitter widgets) will have an effect on your site performance.

    If you’re willing to give Jetpack another try, it would be interesting to activate the plugin again, and then go to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard, and deactivate each module, one at a time, until you can figure out what module seems to cause the issue on your site.
