Yes, might be that. For stripe I can manage to multiply the number selection (quantity) with the value of a product and use this scheme to create several plans for several products. But for Paypal I don’t see a several plans option. I’m really puzzled on how can I do this only with calculations. How can I put all the different possibilities in only one plan?

Does a calculation result becomes =0 when it becomes invisible/the condition does not apply?

Hi @nomadarod,

You can use a “Calculation” field to add the calculate the total amount and assign that as a variable to the PayPal field so that the calculated amount would be picked on the PayPal side.

This would entirely depend upon your logical condition used and how you are calculating. Any example or a screenshot of what you are trying to apply that you could share so that we could have a better idea?

Thanks for sharing those links. I managed to create a calculation for a variable for Paypal.

I wonder why Stripe has “payment plans” then? Is it the difference being that the “Plan name” will show in the payment receipt while it wont happen in Paypal (which has no assigned payment plans)?

It happens because Stripe has the recurring payment mode too ( Pro Add-on ) while Stripe we have a simple payment module only, recurring module is also under development but no ETA yet.

But you can also include some extra information in PayPal field for example billing details: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#paypal-advanced

Hi,

In one of the products I would like to give them the option to pay only the registration and pay the rest later. But if I create this alternative calculation “à payer maintenant” that can be selected with a checkbox (checkbox-1), I don’t see how I can tell Paypal that that’s the new Total. (Paypal has a “variable amount” that corresponds to a pre-set calculation; there is no conditioning in the Paypal settings)
