Quantity buttons on cart page

Hi!

On cart page customer can increase product quantity and update cart before heading to checkout. Lets say that customer has added product A to cart. We have just one product A in stock but customer tries to increase product quantity. When clicking the plus button nothing happens as customer can’t increase quantity if it is not in stock.

But at the same time customer receives no notification why he cannot increase the quantity. Is there a way to notify customer on cart page why nothing happens when clicking plus button? Some error message or even some kind of tooltip?
