quantity buttons enabled on Crio theme

The issue stems from the enabling the quantity buttons on the plugin.
If the cart is empty, there are no issues.
If the cart > 0, on any of the single product pages, the JS gets stuck in an endless cycle and the cart becomes unusable. See this screen recording: https://gyazo.com/b8d9b04950fae6e1f7a0a83d369cb578
