Quantity box edit quantity behaviour

Hi,

I’ve got a question/request about the behaviour of the product quantity selection. Standard the quantity is set to 1, which is great of course because most people are only buying 1 piece of a product.

If someone is willing to buy 2 or more of a product, they will click/hit the quantity box (if not using the arrows or plus and minus of course). Now if they need 2 pieces of an item, they will click/hit 2. But because the amount of 1 is still there, if someone isn’t fully focussed, they will end up with 12 items in their cart. Is it possible to make it such that when someone hits/clicks the quantity box, you can assume they are willing to change the standard amount, the standard amount of 1 disappears and only the new value is entered instead of added after the ‘1’?
