qTranslate: "home" link resets selected language

  • hello i have a problem with qtranslate.

    language not install and place in spanish and english.
    selected the default language.
    then go to change the language website and entered into a category and perfect, but when searching or go home to option in the menu reset the language that is default!

    need to follow in the same language until i manually change!
    i have version 3.4.1 of wordpress
    anyone can help me?????

  • One option is to hack the wp code so that search.php recognizes that there are different languages. Otherwise searches will always go back to your default language. Then you can add the 2-letter language code to the url of the search result.

    You can also write some php to check which language you’re using and then overide the normal ‘home’ button so that it goes to yoursite.com/es/ for example.

    (by the way, it does not matter which version of WP you are using)

    Hope this gets you started. Sorry, it is not an elegant solution.
