qTranslate

  • I’ve just started using qTranslate to add other language versions to my site. Being also new to WordPress, I immediately made a big mistake after trying something out, and deleted the English and German languages instead of deactivating them (my home language is Dutch). How can I recover those languages? The add language feature doesn’t work – asks for an .mo file.

  • I suggest you open the downloaded qtranslate zip file and extract the .mo files from the qtranslate\lang subdirectory into the languages subdirectory in your wp-content\plugins\qtranslate\lang directory.
