    To whom it may concern,

I have this issue that QSM does not register all questions when taking a quiz.

The quiz is set up to have 20 questions, but when you click the Submit button it only registers 18 questions for some reason.

Is there anyway to solve this issue?

    Hello Sumit,

It seams to be an issue when I use the “Limit questions for each category” functionality, because when I turn it off there is no issue.

When I take the quiz it shows 20 questions, but when you hit register it only registers 18 question for some reason, even when you get all the questions right.

I cannot share the quiz link since it is password protected and the questions cannot be shared online sorry.

    Dear @kenneth1989 ,

Let me discuss this point with our technical team.

I will keep you posted with further updates soon.

    Regards,
    Sumit

    Dear @kenneth1989 ,

As per my understanding I think when you are using individual limit setting for categories you are getting only 18 question out 20 on quiz page if yes Can you confirm whether you are utilizing two categories within a single question? Could you possibly share a screencast to provide better clarity?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Regards,
    Sumit

    Hi Sumit,

The thing is that when I take the quiz it shows 20 questions:

However when I click “Submit”, it says that there is only 18 questions for some reason. Even when I get all 20 questions right, it still says there is only 18 questions in the quiz:

To answer your question, I am not using two categories within a single question but I am using nested questions like this one:

    Dear @kenneth1989 ,

We are attempting to reproduce this problem, but duplicating it is proving to be quite challenging.

If feasible, could you share the quiz URL or provide a screenshot of the quiz settings screen? Alternatively, any error logs you have would also be helpful in diagnosing the issue.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Regards,
    Sumit

    Hi Sumit,

Here is the quiz url: https://www.amcbanking.com/blog/qsm_quiz/amc-banking-exam/

I dont see any error logs.

If you take the quiz, I will get a mail with only 18 questions and not 20 as there is in the quiz.

    I again Summit,

I can see that you took the quiz.

I have just recieved an email with only 18 questions and not 20:

(I have crossed out the questions and answers)

    Dear @kenneth1989 ,

As per technical team, they have observed that two questions are repeated in this quiz, possibly because you have used two categories for both questions.

    question number 8 and 10

    Questions number 12 and 17

The solution here is for you to use only one category in a single quiz.

Let me know if you need more help.

Hello everybody and to the development team,

First, I would like to say that I love the QSM plugin. My thanks to the development team. I observed the following technical issue:

Let’s say I create a quiz with 50 questions and 4 categories as below: Category 1: 7 questions. Limit: 3 questions. Category 2: 6 questions. Limit: 3 questions. Category 3: 28 questions. Limit: 21 questions. Category 4: 9 questions. Limit: 3 questions. Total in bank: 50 questions.

If I choose to limit the questions in categories 1, 2, and 4 to three questions and category 3 to 21 questions, I expect to obtain a quiz with 30 questions. However, because the random question function is enabled, the result is a variable number of questions in the quiz. This technical problem should be checked and solved.

My personal opinion and best guess are that the random function is not applied to categories first, producing a variable number of questions in the quiz despite the fact that the limit for the quiz is set to 30 questions.

Let me know if this is a real technical issue in the plugin.

    Best regards, César

    Hello @sumitsanadhya
I am facing an issue in my questionnaire system (QSM). We have a total of 40 questions, among which there are three sets: 15&16, 17&18, and 19&20. In these three sets, the user is supposed to select 2 answers. However, the problem is that the QSM is counting it as one question. Ideally, I want it to count 15&16 as two separate instances to achieve a total question count of 40, but currently, the total count is only showing 37 question as you can see in this link https://ieltssuccesspro.com/qsm_quiz/5-cambridge-17-test-2/
