Q re changing layout of jumbotron

    Hi

    I would like to change the image for a jumbotron, and also remove the button to posts (I am creating a simple site with mainly static pages to start with).

    How would I go about this? Shoudl it be done within a child theme?

    Yes I’d highly recommend creating an actual child-theme.
    Alternatively, the theme uses its own eo_get_template function for modules (carousel, jumbotron, highlights, featurettes), so you can copy the
    bootstrap-ultimate\inc\modules\jumbo.php
    to
    bootstrap-ultimate\child\default\inc\modules\jumbo.php

    But like I said you’d be better of with actual wp child-template for file changes
