PWA AND/OR AVADA THEME INSERTING IMAGE INTO PODCASTING FEED. ERROR WITH SPOTIFY

    I’m using the Avada theme with the PWA plugin along with Blubrry PowerPress plugin to create a podcast feed. When I validate my feed, I am getting the following error.

    ERROR: More than likely you have a theme or plugin that is adding an image to your RSS feed. Most likely this is a favicon image that is small, 16×16 or 32×32. This will cause problems if you want to put your podcast on Spotify.

    I have narrowed it down to the Avada theme’s use of the PWA plugin as the cause of the error but not sure if it is a theme issue or a plugin issue. It stems from either the theme or plugin forcing the “App Splash Screen Logo” into the channel header section of the podcast feed. When I disable/deactivate the PWA plugin, the error goes away and the feed validates with no errors.

    Anyone else run across this issue and if so, where you able to figure out a work around?

    The PWA plugin doesn’t do anything with feeds, so it sounds like this is a theme issue. I recommend you opening a support topic with the theme.
